We are currently looking for a qualified Data Base Administrator (m/f/d) to support our IT department in Luxembourg. If you want to be part of our multidisciplinary team and are interested in this excellent opportunity, please apply for this role.

Job Specification

• Set-up of new databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server)
• Database maintenance
• Performance monitoring and optimization of databases
• Initiation of release upgrades
• Security monitoring and set-up of user security of all databases
• Execution of IT operations
• Back-up and restore management of databases
• General database design

Skills Required

• Bachelor degree in computer science or IT related apprenticeship
• Several years of relevant working experience
• DBA certification
• Knowledge of Network administration
• Knowledge of System administration
• Strong analytical and decision- making skills as well as a structured way of working
• Ability work successfully both autonomously and within teams
• Experience in project work advantageous
• Ability to set priorities, be flexible and highly accurate
• Fluent communication skills in German and English, French advantageous
