Job summary
The Global Brand & Communications Manager is responsible for maintaining brand integrity across all company marketing initiatives and communications. In addition, they will support external communications initiatives to promote the Majorel brand to current and prospective clients.
Main responsibilities
Brand Management
- Brand strategy, including the setting of style guides and brand guidelines, brand vision and value proposition
- Maintenance and development of standards for sub-branding
- Keeping the brand ‘’fresh” for our Clients
- Act as a central point for guidance and direction regarding visual identity and brand compliance
- Ensuring brand consistency/brand policing – globally
- Updating brand book and brand elements and templates
- Planning and execution of external communications initiatives to promote the Majorel brand offline and online
- Creating and managing promotional collateral to establish and maintain branding
- Managing the budget for branding and associated communications
- Quarterly competitor insights analysis
- Maintaining a central register of domain names, social channels and other brand assets
- Monitor the use of the Majorel brand
Communications
- Manage external media relationships as required
- Put together news releases and other communications content
- Support Majorel’s Industry Analyst Relations program
- Support for external communications initiatives (proofing, copywriting)
- Support for the SVP, Global Marketing & Communications as required
Competenties and professional background
- Around 7 years’s experience in brand and external B2B communications – essential
- Experience of managing media relationships
- Native English speaker – essential
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral – essential
- French and German language skills – advantageous
- A team player with “hands-on” mentality
- High sense of responsibility, great commitment, high flexibility, high confidentiality
- Able to work on own initiative
- Self-motivated and results driven; precise worker
- Excellent organizational skills and high service orientation
- Excellent PC skills – particularly PowerPoint, InDesign/Photoshop
- High awareness and proficiency in social media and digital marketing
- Ability to write great copy – essential
