Legal officer (m/f)

We are a high-ranking, fast-growing European Property Investment Management company, willing to strengthen our team to manage the activities of our holding structures in Luxembourg. This role offers

As our new legal officer, reporting to the Legal Manager Luxembourg, you will take an active role in the management of European real estate portfolios.

This role implies many interactions with our head office in London, and with business partners throughout Europe.

You will be responsible for all legal and corporate matters of various legal entities (real estate fund entities) with focus on the following responsibilities:

• coordinating transactions from a legal perspective (acquisition, financing, sale…), in particular assisting with the closing of asset transactions
• setting up, administrating and liquidating legal entities, ensuring that their respective activities are in compliance with rules and regulations applicable in Luxembourg
• drafting and reviewing various legal documents, including board and shareholder meeting documentation, as well as any kind of agreements, for highly active and transactional fund entities
• coordinating with local and foreign advisors in relation with the local underlying entities and assets (Western and Central Europe)
• coordinating third party legal and notary services

Your profile:

• Master’s degree in Legal studies
• Relevant experience of minimum 3 to 5 years in a comparable position in a fund administration, or in a fiduciary in Luxembourg
• Fluency in English (written & spoken), German and French an asset, any further foreign languages a plus
• Excellent analytical and organisational skills
• Proactive, rigorous and ability to multitask, identify priorities and respect deadlines
• Capacity to work autonomously and under pressure
• Proficiency with MS applications
