MUFG Lux Management Company S.A. (“MUFGLM”), is the management company of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group in Europe.
MUFGLM is the “Super ManCo” (having authorisation from CSSF for managing both UCITS and AIFM).
MUFGLM as of end of November 2020, manages around USD 18.7 bln of assets within approx. 115 Alternative Investment and UCITS funds (EU and non-EU structures), being one of the biggest Alternative Investment Fund Manager (“AIFM”) in Luxembourg.
MUFGLM approach is to provide to third party fund promoter “one stop shop” solution in combination with services offered by Mitsubishi UFJ Investor Services & Banking (Luxembourg) S.A. and other entities within  MUFG’s group.

Field of activity:
Your role will be to be in contact with our investment advisers and monitor the investment restrictions (pre-trade
checks) and execute the trades. In addition you will assist the due diligence manager in performing assessment on
very well known investment managers and distributors worldwide located (Asia, Europe and US).

Task and Responsibilities

• Implement the investment strategy through portfolio construction in standardized portfolios and ensure that the advices received are in line with the funds (AIFs or UCITS V) investment policies;
• Perform pre-trade checks for daily orders and enhance the compliance system.
• Adjust forex positions in portfolios and execute order from advisors (Spot and Forward);
• Execute subscriptions and redemptions advice in master feeder structure funds;
• Implement and develop controls to monitor master feeder structures (cash liquidity);
• Assist in developing controls on delegates (portfolio managers, investment advisors and distributors);
• Review of the monthly KPIs and creation of summary report to senior management;
• Assist and perform initial and ongoing due diligence questionnaire on investment managers and distributors;
• Produce and develop reporting on performance for senior management/Board;
• Develop dashboards and reports that will enable senior management/Boards to have a high level view on activities of ManCo,
• Assist in the implementation and analysis of regulatory changes (AIFMD, ESMA guidelines).

Your Profile

• Academic degree in economics, finance or equivalent;
• 3 to 5 year of related experience in financial services industry preferably in asset Management Company (UCITS V and AIFM) or Big 4 experience within regulatory department;
• Good understanding of Luxembourg fund industry;
• Analytical mind and ability to understand investment strategies;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Excellent written and verbal proficiency in English (Japanese language can be considered as an asset);
• Sound knowledge of Excel and Access tools in particular VBA and SQL;
• Good commend of Bloomberg is an advantage;
• Capacity to organise and manage priorities and deal with stress;
• Strong sense of initiative and focus on quality of your work.
