To support our strategic initiatives within an ecosystem of new partners, we are looking for an exceptional:
Product Owner – Open Banking
You are an experienced Product Owner with a good understanding of PSD2/Open Banking from a regulatory and technical perspective. You are comfortable working with software development teams and business stakeholders. You will be responsible for coordinating product launches and identification/prioritization of business requirements across the 3 business lines (Retail, Corporate & Investment Banking, Wealth Management). The position is based in Luxembourg and you will report to the Lead Product Manager.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Drives Open Banking product strategy.
- Delivers and prioritizes user stories.
- Coordinates Open Banking API product launch, including regional market insights, sizing of the opportunity and analysis of feature requirement.
- Owns launch plans and runs the partner engagement workstreams.
- Evaluates customer sentiment and requirements, providing feedback and ROI for potential product investments.
- Liaises with the Portfolio Management and Lead Product Manager to define and prioritize the product features roadmap and prioritizes the outstanding work so that the teams are addressing the next “right” features.
- Writes complete and detailed feature business cases that convey clear requirements to the business, design, usability and development teams.
- Creates buy-in for the product vision with key stakeholders.
- Acts as the Go-To-Market Manager driving customer early adoption, commercial and internal operational readiness, and maintains a strong knowledge of marketplace opportunities, customer segmentation, target customers and their wants/needs.
- Coordinates with regulatory (legal, compliance, risk), marketing and commercial teams.
- Facilitates the team’s creativity and efficiency. Acts as scrum master for the team.
Must Have Requirements
Your skills :
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills; demonstrated success building buy-in for an innovative and bold vision.
- Implementation orientation; demonstrated ability to translate strategic differentiators into innovative and detailed product requirements.
- Technical fluency; comfort understanding and discussing architectural concepts, schedule tradeoffs and new opportunities with technical team members.
- Proven ability to make smart feature (customer experience) versus time-to-market trade-offs; experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions and assertions of business value.
- Willingness to roll up the sleeves and do whatever is necessary to meet team goals.
- Strengths in problem solving and issue-resolution, ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
Your profile :
- BA/BS and/or a graduate degree in a product/project management or IT/technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2C or B2B solutions, preferably in online or high-tech company.
- Prior experience in the payments or finance industry.
- Ability to appreciate and understand the technical issues surrounding BIL products and technologies.
- Be a natural team player and have a desire to work with others for broader success.
- Fluent in written and spoken English and French. You are able to participate actively in English and French meetings.
- Experience with scrum is an asset.
- Knowledge of the banking industry would be a plus.
- Has relentless high standards.
