Project Buyer (M/W)
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Group Purchasing Director, this role includes the main following tasks :
- Manage Purchase projects, linked to New product development processes, but also to some important Rotarex projects
- Define the needs together with internal department and related technical services, project teams, and Group central Rand D department
- Prepare supply chain configuration for serial life production, follow projects including industrialization phase,
- Insure respect of high quality standards, participate to supplier quality and logistic audits
- Deliver purchase outputs in time, quality and costs
- Manage some indirect purchase activities and projects
- Maintain of Master Data by collecting and maintaining ERP systems,
- Participates to continuous improvement programs and contributes to obtain challenging purchase KPIs
Profile description:
Must Have Requirements
- Education: You have a bachelor’s degree in business studies and/or technics with additional procurement training
- Experience: A first experience of minimum 3 years in industrial sector and purchase activities is required
- Technical skills & Knowledge: You have a good technical knowledge as buyer in manufacturing is a positive point
- Languages: You are fluent in English and feel comfortable in German and/or French
- Personal & Soft Skills: Your behavior facilitates the information streams between Production, R&D, Sales and any other partner on the project, you know how to take the lead on projects and bring all involved people to work towards a common objective, you are objective oriented and take care of parameters like cost, quality, quantity and deadlines.
- You are result oriented. You have strong abilities to work in team, but you can also demonstrate decision-making autonomy
Education level: Bachelor’s Degree
Work experience: 3-4 years
