Scrum Master (m/f)

For our department IT Projects within LuxairGroup, we are looking for a (an):

Scrum Master (m/f)

Main duties:

• Follow the Scrum Methodology and make sure that the fundamentals are respected (roles, artefacts and ceremonies within Scrum)
• Protect the delivery team against external disturbing factors
• Resolve impediments
• Coach, mentor and motivate the delivery team and contractors.
• Improve the performance of the team in terms of delivery and quality, allowing the team to run at a sustainable pace
• Help the team to resolve internal and external conflicts
• Act outside the Scrum team as coach and mentor for agile best practices
• Occasionally act as a deputy for other department members

Required profile:

Minimum required criteria:

• Be holder of a bachelor degree “BAC& 3” in Information Technology, Sciences, Economy or equivalent combination of education and experience on a similar position
• Have a proven (at least 3 years) experience as Scrum Master
• Have a sound knowledge of IT topics
• Have a strong experience in continuous integration / delivery platforms
• Have a good understanding of agile testing
• Have strong (servant) leadership skills
• Demonstrate a strong affinity for a wide range of software applications
• Have an advanced command of standard office applications
• Show excellent communication skills in English as well as skills in French or German (spoken and written)
• Accept Duty Travel
• Have good presentation skills

• Must provide an effort in the undeveloped language
• Shall learn and apply new technologies
• Be able to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Be able to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Be accurate, detail oriented and reliable
• Show a strong ability to communicate at all levels, both inside and outside the company

The ideal candidate:

• Be certified as Scrum Master
• Have knowledge and / or experience in the field of airline and tour operator systems
• Knowledge of Luxemburgish or any other language is considered as asset
