Senior Accounting & Corporate Officer (m/f)

Role Summary/Purpose:

• Graduated from university or business school, with a first experience of 2 to 5 years in a similar environment, you will have the opportunity to thrive in a friendly corporate environment. You will oversee a portfolio of companies, covering all accounting, reporting, legal as well as tax aspects
• Responsible for the financial strategy of the company, including daily accounting tasks
• Strong individual ownership on the assigned tasks and appetite for idea innovation is expected in this role

Essential Responsibilities:

• Set Multi-Company finance strategy, including company and tax structures working with outside advisers
• Handling all day-to-day bookkeeping activities
• AP/AR cycle management: record invoices, prepare payments, reconciliations, sales documents; and Intrastat
• Experience of Odoo ERP

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in accounting
• Professional fluency in English is mandatory, and French / German / are considered an advantages
• Working knowledge with MS Office
• Good knowledge of Preparing the annual financial statements and periodic reports in Luxembourg Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (Lux GAAP) but also US GAAP
• Ability to problem solve (identifying issues and being proactive in proposal of solutions), good planning and organization (setting priorities and goals, and analysing them for future improvement), teamwork and customer focus (cooperating and working within a team towards customer satisfaction by communicating clearly and maintaining good relationships)
• European Union Passport Holder
